  1. Secret admirer

Definitely how i remember it! Thank you for bringing it back

  2. Ally T.

Very nice classic blend of essential oils. Where do you get them?

    • jimmyv

You can find very high-quality essential oils on Amazon. To be safe i won’t buy any oils under $30 / ounce. They just don’t smell right.

  3. AJ

Loved the original blend cant wait to try the others

  4. Ruth D.

Absolutely love it. Can you share the recipe or at least the ingredients?

    • jimmyv

Hi Ruth, The ingredients are simple. Very high quality essential oils, an ancient root-based thickener, 199.6 proof ethanol, and glycerine. Thats about it. Heh, sounds like what my mother in law “Mama Suocera” would say when she made her spaghetti gravy.

By the way, she told me this and I’m sticking to it…do you know the difference between spaghetti gravy and sauce? Gravy’s start with slow roasted bones and are thoroughly stewed for hours. Sauces start with fresh tomatoes from the garden and don’t have to be so cooked–they can even be raw.

And remember spaghetti is just a long thin pasta somewhere between angle-hair and linguine–I can rarely tell the difference. Have you ever heard anyone call it spago? Thats Italian for “thin string” or “twine”. “…What kine of noodles would you like tonight–thin string please with gravy, meatball and sausage”.

  5. Kathy

Its very nice, just like i remembered it.

  6. katy

Its very nice. I cant wait to try other blends

  7. Lora D

I love it. What are the ingredients?

    • jimmyv

You know its a secret! But if you want a clue, don’t buy any essential oil under $30 / bottle ($30/oz). Then you’ll love them all! I do, and i cant wait to share all of them with you. My latest include Sandlewood, Macadamia Oil, Marula Oil–and i have an extremely pure peppermint I’m testing that is purported to eradicate cold sores.

  8. Mary Parillo

My grandmother used to make something just like this. Is that possible?

    • jimmyv

Yes, 150 years ago a lot of people knew how to make hand lotions like this.

  9. janet

The rose oil is amazing. Made my hands feel like silk for days. Not greasy, not sticky at all. is this what essential oils are supposed to feel like?

    • jimmyv

The essential oils get distributed evenly on your skin with the alcohol based emulsion that flashes off in seconds. They are amazing and very few people have ever really experienced them like you will with Italian Balm. Also, my emultions are so complex i cant even know where to begin explaining the features i build into them–absorption, water resistance, oiliness, stickiness, longevity… I’m just glad you like it.
